Liquid Sculptures

Liquid Sculptures explores the invisible threshold between order and chaos. Using flash durations of around 1/40,000th of a second, the work captures the precise instant when liquid droplets collide and briefly hold form — structures that exist for a fraction of a moment before collapsing back into nothing. Each image is unrepeatable. The sculptures cannot be staged, only coaxed into appearing, which is what makes them worth chasing.
